Second Row Seat & Noise Under the Hood

Hello All,

Two issues I'm having and would love your thoughts:

1. The passenger side second row seat in my '06 5 folds down, but does not slide forward when pulling up on the lever on the side of the seat. I can move it forward by then pulling the lever underneath. The driver's side, however, folds down, and slides forward all with one touch to the lever on the side. Is this intentional or an error??

2. Upon startup, I can hear a "wet" sticky sound. Sounds like wet belts. When cruising, the sound goes away. When accelerating, the sound starts up again. Sounds like a wet sticky tweaking. Almost a squeal.

Second row will slide (tilt and slide) with the side lever..make sure the base of the seat is bottomed out (closed).

Sounds like change of weather belts getting worn...or need a quick lub with some belt snot
