Seat problem?

2012 Mazda 5. Bought new Summer 2011. 19K miles.

The driver seat is creaking bad upon acceleration. I.e. when my body (due to torque) pushing back on the seat.

I am not obese.

Had ford of orange take a look at it, it was good for 2 days its back again.

Anyone else experience this? Has there been a TSB or antyhing else done for it?

I appreciate any feedback.

Haven't had any issues with my seat, just the steering wheel creaking when it's cold.

The seat creak is super annoying. Even my 1967 car doesnt' creak as bad. Sounds like old spring in a matrees.

Will see if I can take it another dealer.

What height do you keep your seat set to? Is it all the way up by any chance? Where does the sound seem to emanate from? The base, the back-rest.... I'm just wondering if it is something you can address yourself with some 3 in 1 oil LOL

Seat is mid position. Sound comes from lower back area.

Car is currently at the dealer again. They are saying they have had quite a few 5s come in for this problem.

Will either get new seat springs, or full new seat rails.

Will keep you posted.

Well it is has finally been fixed. So many dealer visits, and so many fixes.

They replaced the seat adjuster twice. It didn't fix it. Now they replaced the full seat rails.

All squeak gone, car drives like new.
