running lights and others such

Ok guys and gals. im looking at replaceing the running lights inside the main headlight houseing. I know that some of ya'll have done this. and replaced them with L.E.D. bulbs. I cannot find such bulbs though! if anyone has any suggestions as to where i can find these at. and such please let me know.. Any websites or anything would be great. Im going to be doing all of the lights in my car but as of right now im staring with the outside.

Also has anyone put the 55watt 8000k H.I.D's in there car?? i just ordered mine from RPM. but im not sure how stable there going to be. (just dont need them melting the houseing or anything) anywho i hope everyone is doing well and i hope to hear some answeres back soon.. thanks all
 
Superbrightled.com is where I got all of mine. If you change to 55w hid's won't you have to change the ballasts???
 
The balast is what generates the power so yes, he'll have to either 1. find the slim balasts to place them into the stock spots or 2. find a place for 2 new ones.

that's what I thought. . . I have 12k hid bulbs on my car and they are already bright as hell and they don't cost as much as replacing the ballasts. Only like $20 shipped from DDM
 
Sweet guys.. thanks for the advise. im going to be ordering some very shortly.. i actually just got my HID's in today. I got the 8000k 55w ddm from RPM.Com. Now i just gotta find time among my busy schedule to be able to put them in! I figured while im at it i'll probably put an intake on and some of the other lights at the same time. Thanks again for all the links and such.
 
Na my car didnt come with H.I.D's so thats why i just got them from RPM. Im still haveing a hard time figureing out what the bulbs in the front are though.. im guessing there parking lights but im not sure of the size. im hopeing that 194's will fight into them but im not exactly sure. Hope everyone is haveing a good weekend.. and thanks again for all the info on all the sites.
 
The parking lights are 194s, you can replace them with LEDs pretty easily. If they don't work right off, rotate the bulbs 180 degrees and that should fix it.
 
Be careful buying wider 194s for your running lights. Take the stock one, measure its width, and don't add more than 2-3mm all around. Otherwise it won't fit through the opening and you'll have to play with it. I've seen people force those in and then losing them inside the headlight housing. Good luck fishing those out!!

you can use the wider ones for the lights on the front doors.

Nah, too big there too - they will be too long. I ordered some by mistake and the only place that I could fit them was on the doors. Luckily I was able to fit them there. Four letter words are hard to explain to a 5 year old.
 
Well im actually fixen to order mine here in just a few mins. im going to order the fronts, dome, doors and licends plate. hope everyone is doing well and thanks a bunch for the advice..
 
ok guys.. i got everything installed. HID's front running lights and licends plate lights.. it looks hella sweet! i do have a question though. with my HID's is it normal for them to not come on first time around? i mean the second time they come right on. but just turning them on the first time. they start then stop and i have to flip them off and turn them back on again. there the DDM's 55 watt ballests and 8000k lights. just alittle wierd but i dunno if thats supposed to me be normal with these or not. anywho let me know.. and thanks for the advice on everything else.. the car looks awsome.. next thing is the doors then on to other such fun. stereo, hood, suspension wheels and tires, and whatever else i can get my hands on... anywho let me know...
 
Uhm nope mine come right on. Now they do have to warm up so when you turn them on they should fade in. But they shouldnt cut off then have to be restarted.
 
yup.. looks hot as hell on the car to! ordered more for the interior now! anyone know where i can get the smoked sides and rear reflectors and such?
