Anyone in Canada willing to swap their non-roof rack with my US roof rack?

I am to the point of being desperate where I would like this to be a 0 cost transaction except for shipping costs.

This is not a sale but a trade so that is why I am posting this here.

Please advise.

Why don't you just take the cross beams off?? That is what I did and it looks really nice, took like 15 minutes. you just have to get the covers. Mine came with the car as they should. If not you can let your dealer know and they can get them for you.

I just got off the phone with Floyd at Pugi Mazda in Downers Grove, IL.

I asked for the following part numbers and prices:

BJ3D-50-9L0D,E, $62.45 + ~$8.00/off for Club Pricing
BJ3D-50-9H0D,E, $62.45 + ~$8.00/off for Club Pricing

He told me the "E" supercedes the D and you see the price he gave me above.

Can someone in Canada somehow verify the part numbers of the weatherstripping they have to see if it matches.

This is what I am looking to trade for.

62.45 is not bad at all for the "clean" roof rack. It'll probably cost you that much just to ship yours to canada.

there are no local dealers around you that has em?

$62.45 X 2 (PER SIDE). Don't tell me it will cost more than $50.00 to ship the roof rack to Canada. Heck, even USPS will do it for probably $30.00.

P.S. I'm trying to identify if the people in Canada have the same part number. If so, why should I spend $125.00 + tax locally when I can spend half that or so for someone that has them already.

whoa, k...now that sounds more like dealer pricing.

i thought it would cost a lot for the shipping because an autoexe front lip is $80 from canada. But i guess the roof rack is smaller and you can stick the 4 pieces for a US spec one into a smaller package.

luck on the hunt...are you a member of TOprotege or mpsport.net....both of those forums haev a huge canadian population..im sure they would love to help ya

Sorry, not on the Toronto scene.

Man, I have a wife and three kids. I'll do whatever it takes to get what I want. In the past, I spent lots of money on the cars I have owned. Now, I am trying to do it as cheap as possible.

go with the conversion, kinda hard to do, but worth it. me and a couple buddies did mines in less than an hour, the head board? needed to be taken off and 4 bolts needed to be taken off. need any help, just ask

Thanks guys, now I just need to find someone to swap stuff with or get the best prices on the weatherstripping fillers and I'll do it. Heck, I came from the Honda/Acura boards, done engine swaps, etc. - this should be cake.
