Rode in a Viper Just thought I would share this

I was on my jetski last Wednesday and these people invited my to there house for a party on July4th, and he wanted me to follow him to his house and I am following him and my jetski just shuts off. So he tows me the rest of the way to his house. So he has to bring me back to my base to get my truck with my jetski trailer. And he opens his garage and on the right he had a 2000 Dodge Viper, and on the left a 1999 Prowler. He told me to take my pick and I had to pick the yellow Viper, he was bragging about 600 whp. That thing was nice! Just thought I would share that.

vipers are nice, but they're kinda strange to drive. i was always under the impression that the motor would freely rev, but it doesn't. one of my customers had two (94 r/t and a 96/97 GTS coupe). I got to pimp the GTS a little bit for taking care of it for the company's car show a couple of years ago. kinda fun turning heads, but still didn't drive like i thought it would.

i rode thru an autoX course w/ a skip barber instructor in a GTS last summer. holy power, batman! unreal, the level of acceleration and grip that thing had. i don't know if i have the balls to drive that car like that to its limits.

I drove a friends 2000 VIPER RT/10

It was a monster, for sure. Very fast. No dead pedal, though. Not too comfy after you get through the gears and are in cruising mode. Ha!

Now; he has a 2003 Mercedes Benz CL 600 Coupe Twin Turbo V12 With 500 hp, and 593 ft. lbs. of torque. You want to talk about an amazing car??!! Next time I drive it, I'm turning off the traction control. For $135,000.00, I guess, it should be amazing!
