this weekend, my wife and I went from Irvine to San Diego, back to Irvine, then from Irvine to San Luis Obispo and back.

the drive up to SLO is great. the drive back was not so great, since the 101 South past Ventura on Sunday nights always has heavy traffic.

from SLO to Santa Barbara, a WRX wagon and I were driving side-by-side...it was pretty fun and we kept up with each other through the twisties.

anyway, short of having a lot bug guts on the windshield...no problems whatsoever!

Nice. I've got a road trip up north in a couple weeks for a local car meet. Then at the end of June I'll being driving from Phoenix to Carlsbad for my cousins wedding. Can't wait.
