i was putting a fmic kit on this weekend and wound up buying a new fan at my local parts store. its a bi-directional fan so it can push or pull. i got to thinking than what if i put this thin on the front to push. that would give me more room by the turbo. so put it on and haven't had any problems yet. just wondering if anyone else has done this or thought about it. 100_3240.webp100_3241.webp

I've had my fans mounted as pushers for over a year without issues, there are lots of people around here that have run them that way.

I had a pusher on my civic for years and i think it actually cooled better. but also the aftermarket fans can tend to push more cfm than stock. whats size is the one you installed?

I have a push fan on my condensor and a pull fan on my radiator. Reason being is i was burning up slim fan motors that were directly in front of my turbo (HOT, lol)....haven't burned a fan since.

BUT......my a/c sucks balls at idle, insufficient cooling on the condensor, pressure too high. Lol friggin works great on the highway though

its only a 10 inch fan does great. only had a problem once and it was over 90 that day. and as long as i was above 50 it didnt mater.
