Removing Front Grill

I was trying to remove my grill earlier today just to see how it comes off, but was having a little trouble. I know about the two screws underneath the hood, but are there any screws or clips anywhere else that need to be removed first?

Also, while I'm at it, is it possible to remove the lower grill?

Thanks for your help.

Yah there are usually a few clips under the grill. My stock grill for my P5 just took quite a bit of force to pull the clips out. For the lower grille there should be some clips on the backside of it if you get under your car and look behind the grille(it is quite easy). Like I said I did this for my P5 and I haven't removed the stock grilles from a MS6 before but they should be pretty similer. So hopefully that helps you. Good luck!

Anyone who removed their grill know where and how many of these clipse there are.

Thanks again for the help.

After you remove the 2 top screws and gently(ever so gently) pull the grill towards you(away from motor) they are visible. Lightly release them cause they are delicate. If you break just 1, the grille will still be secure to the car so don't worry. The lower grille is also just clips. Removal of the bumper(not needed) will help you see both sets of clips on the upper and lower grille.

Two screws on top, four clips.

Does the black plastic air deflector that directs the air up into the hood to the intercooler come off with it, or is that connected to the bumper?

Yes, that plastic air diversion panel is attached to the grill, you can also see it has been molded with protrusions that are about 3 inches long to reach the grill and attach.(pissed)
