Removal of front interior lights

Does anyone know the trick for removing the front interior (map) light panel from the headliner on a 2007 CX-7. I've tried plying it down but it doesn't seem to want to come loose.

Maybe someone has a shop manual and could attach the directions for replacement of front map light bulbs (leds)?

There are two metal tabs on the width sides and four plastic tabs on the length sides. You just have to use some force.

I've removed mine using a blunt knife (perhaps a butter knife).

You work that up on the right hand side of the light unit (when looking from back), and feel for a metal clip. Push that in with the knife and the unit slides out a bit, enough for you to then pull it out

Reinstalling is easy, just push it back in.
