I had to relocate the boost gauge when I installed my FPR kit a few weeks ago...Ever since then, I've noticed it flutters when I am at cruising speeds(needle shows roughly 10-20 on the vacuum side). When I decelerate, or accelerate, it smoothes out and gives me a nice fluid movement, but when my speed levels out, the needle starts to bounce again...What would cause this?? Maybe a leak in the connection at the T fitting?? COuld I have tapped into the wrong hose?? I only noticed 2 back there. 1 where the FPR kit now is, and 1 where I put the boost gauge line.
Any advice???

Mine's the same way... I tapped into the line the arrow points to:

That's the same one I tapped into...Are we the only two??? Someone else has got to verify this...

WELL CRAP!! I guess it's normal then...I just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaking or anything...Thanks guys:)

Isn't this where Joe told us to tap into?? I had the boost gauge installed before the FPR...I had to relocate the boost gauge, and I thought he told me to go where I did...

it's a fine place for it...........i had it tapped into a line that was right in the middle behind the engine and it was smooth everywhere.............when i got FPR kit, i relocated the gauge to the same line that's on the picture above and the needle jumps at cruising speeds arround 20-16.
It's normal........different lines have different consistency of pressure.

2K3 u beat me to it
that's exactly what joe told me...............i trust joe
