I checked my mail today and I got a recall notice in the mail
for 2 things
this is concerning the 2007 CX-7, the 2007 Mazdaspeed3 and the 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed6
the first recall is for a
Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination (DTC P2006)
recall Campaign 4807H
problem as listed
2nd recall I got includes the cars listed above and also includes the
2006 Mazda6 2.3L
OBD-II Compliance
Recall Campaign 4907H
BOTH recalls involve reprogramming your car's PCM.
I was just wondering if anyone has had this recall mailed to them yet? and I was also wondering if anyone has had an issue with EITHER of these parts?

the first recall is for a
Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination (DTC P2006)
recall Campaign 4807H
problem as listed
Due to a variety of friction between the variable swirl shutter valve and position switch, the shutter valve actuator may not be able to fully depress the position switch. This is especially true during cold ambient temperatures and will cause the malfunction indicator light (MIL) to illuminate with the DTC P2006 (variable swirl shutter valve stuck closed) stored in memory. Presence of this concern will not affect the operation of the shutter valve actuator

OBD-II Compliance
Recall Campaign 4907H
The monitor function used to detect Short Fuel Trim maxium threshold strategy is inoperative. Due to the lack of this monitor function, the OBD system is not capable of detecting the malfunction that causes the adaptive feedback control to be exceeded.
BOTH recalls involve reprogramming your car's PCM.
