Rear seat storage bin removal?

Has anyone taken out the storage bin in the driver's side second row seat before? At first glance it looks like I need to disassemble the entire seat. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to remove the unit...why don't you find someone with a GS which that vehicle does not have the option. Bet they would be glad to swap seats with you.

I forgot to follow my own thread...

I'm interested in modifying the tray to house an amp, might be slightly easier with it removed. No big deal though, I just need to drill a few holes...

I don't know if this would be an ideal place for an amp.
No real air circulation in that spot.
