Car details: 2003.5 titanium MSP. 135k miles on it. Almost bone stock except for headers (I believe, former owner did it).

So my 2003.5 MSP has had this noise since I got it 10k miles ago. I didn't notice it right off the bat when I was buying it so it wasn't as bad as it is now. I get this odd noise when accelerating especially when I am lower in the RPM band. It used to not do it so much but in the last day or two it does it almost all the time when I am accelerating from low speeds. If I am really ginger with the gas I don't hear it. I have to give it at least 30% throttle or so but then I get this sound. Anyone hear this before? You can hear it real well in the vid below at :30s or so and then 1:00 and then one right before the video is done.

PS sorry about the turn signals and squeaky clutch pedal!

Well if I had to guess I would say check your rear motor mount and tranny mount make sure they arent cracked... Heck check all 4 mounts I've had to replace all of mine as they were all cracked when I bought the car... You can check the mounts by putting your car in a secluded area and either have a friend be in the drivers seat or you and pop the hood put the cars emergency brake all the way up and have them put it in first gear and try to drive forward for a few seconds and the car should only buck forward a bit and watch to see how much the engine moves when they try to go forward if it moves alot then you know you need to start looking at buying some new mounts for te motor. Hopefully it's not a transfercase chatter. I'm hopeful it's not

Your rear motor mount is probably cracked. That's probably your exhaust hitting the crossmember.
