Quick question

Hey everybody,

So I'm looking at replacing my wheels and I want to go with a set of black wheel nuts and I also found a set of black wheel locks. My question is: the nuts and locks say M12 x 1.5 for the thread size. Is that the same as the factory thread size. In other words, will I have to worry about stripping the threads on either the wheel studs or the nuts and locks if I go with these?

I had to do quick search on ebay for protege5 lug nuts and yes, M12x1.5 was what came up on the listings. Had to make sure it wasn't M12x1.25...........Check one of your oem ones, it may be stamped with M12x1.5 IIRC. But with any lug swaps, just screw them on by hand and make sure they thread on without resistance. And make sure the ones you buy match your wheels.....acorn or flat. OEM wheels are acorn, some aftermarket wheels could require flat ones.
