Question on 2006 MS6 Pricing

Hey guys, i dont know much about the ms6 and its pricing so i wanted to get some opinions from you.

My local dealer is not an authorized ms dealer so it never carries any ms vehicles. For some reason they showed 3 ms6 on their site and called to check on it.
Apparently these 3 cars were driven by MNAO corprate agents (???) and so they have about 2500-3000 miles on them.
They are selling them for 24,900 and they are ready to go. 3 of them are GT, 2 of them with Navigation and 1 of them only has sunroof.
What do you guys think?
One thought just came to mind, are these possibly from zoom zoom live events? If thats the case i wouldnt even get on them, i know how i drove them....

Ive never heard of anything like that personally. MS dealers (I work for one) pay a hefty franchise fee + training/materials to become a Mazdaspeed dealer. I cant see MNAO giving any MS vehicles to non-MS dealers regardless of where they came from. That and, what guarantee do you have that thats where those vehicles came from?

the price for those vehicles with nav is ok, but not great. Esp. for a vehicle you cant guarantee. My opinion would be - dont do it.

Well, i talked to the sales guy because i know they are not a ms dealer and i had a friend working there before so i know they pay a fee to be ms dealers; in fact they used to be but the owner is a cheap ass.
In any case, the sales guy told me that they were certified used by Mazda and they only had been driven by MNAO reps... which is why they only have 2500 miles on them.

Any more thoughts? I would love to get one but i being very fiscally responsible and would only do it if the deal is right, i love my 3 too much.

last i heard was the zzl cars were destroyed after the event. not sure about this year but that's how it was in years past. are they selling as new or used? if they're selling as new i would be less apprehensive as your warranty is still in tact and begins when you purchase.

you also have to ask yourself, why would a dealer in VT be getting cars driven by MNAO reps? pretty far away from headquarters up there

they destroy them? no s***... thats quite the write off for mazda i guess...
i wouldnt see it any other way though, those cars get beat up bad....

in any case, i dont know and i cantimagine why a non MS dealer from VT would be getting these cars; unless they bought them and nobody else wanted them. Where is MNAO HQ?
I dont know, i have to drop off my 3 on friday for the 45k mile service so i will find out more then but i still want to know about the price. whats market value?

I picked up my 2006 GT w/ sunroof for 25,000 + fees in december. It only had 10 miles on it. I would expect to be able to get a car with 3,000 miles on it for less then 25,000 even with a nav system. (But that's just my opinion)

The dealer I bought from (in Chicago) also had 2 MNAO rep cars with 4,000 miles. The cars would have the remainder of the factory warranty. I'm not sure if the dealership considered these new cars or not. But, the cars def had scratches and nicks in the bumpers.

I bought my '06 GT w/moonroof a little over a month ago and paid $24,900 for it (plus TTL). I would not give them that amount of money for a used car, no matter who was driving it.

FYI, I bought a '98 Millenia S in '99, it was a factory rep demo and I ended up paying around $10,000 under MSRP. I think that dealer is trying to pad their wallet at your expense.

thats what i wanted to hear. Thank you everyone for your responses. It is now very obvious that they are full of s***.
I will stop by on friday, take a look at them and tell them that they are a bunch of scam artists, when i asked on the phone and he said 25k i thought they were selling it as a NEW car so i asked if the incentives on mazda site applied to them, and he chuckled and said, "this is a 32k car going for 24, aare you crazy?".
So i am going to tell them to go **** themselves. When i was looking to trade in my 3 for a 2006 3 (i want heated seats) i asked them how much for my 04 mazda 3. They offered me $7500; my 04 with mileage on KB or NADA is going for 11,500 as a trade in right now and market value at the time was close 14k. I had a volvo dealer offering me 14,500 for my car when i looked into getting an S40.

I am stopping by tomorrow for th 45k mile service and some final warranty work before the warranty is gone...
