Question for IoN performance

Do you guys sell just the downpipe and cat alone (without the cat-back section). If so, how much is it? Thanks.

I did, but I only saw the turbo back and downpipe back options - not the downpipe and hi-flow cat alone option.

I asked the following question:


"Jack, will you be willing to sell the s pipe/down pipe without the cat back portion? I am not liking your choice of mufflers I can get the cat back custom made."


And I got the following response from ION:


"srd555 - Unfortunately we will not be selling this piece separately unless you already have a down-pipe back system. We cannot guarantee the performance or quality if you go with a "custom" cat-back."

I'm guessing you're familiar with the thread then so could you tell me how much the 3" downpipe + 3" hi-flow cat costs? Thanks.

so they ARE selling their s-pipe/dp by itself? they just won't sell it to someone who doesn't have a dp-back system? am i reading this right?

They are not selling those items alone.

Larone - the 1-piece down-pipe w/ 3" cat section won't be sold alone as it will not mate up with any other cat-back out there. The one on the market have really small flanges, and will not mate up. Performance, sound and quality of your overall enjoyment cannot be guaranteed when you mix & match.
