Question about Injen CAI install

I just got my Injen CAI in the mail today. I was looking over the instructions because I want to put it on tomorrow. And in step one it says I will have to remove the front bumper to istall it... Is this true?? How hard is it to remove the freakin bumper?? Anyone who has put this on please let me know.

just be sure not to do something violent, as the airbags might deploy. cant be too hard- i saw mine taken off, took minutes. (i got in accident). dont know details, though

do not take off your front bumper. it's too much work. here's the link to a simpler method for installing the intake:

hey

i took my front bumperbar off to install it. made it a million times easier, but at the same time up changed the bulbs in the fog lights so i sort of had another purpose. when i clean the air filter, i just take off the plastic guard thingie near where the filter is. that would be enough if you dont want to take the whole bumper off.

dont follow those instructions completely. Look at Mitch's site, also look at the directions. I didnt remove the bumper at all. I did it in the dark and have never done it before. It's easy.

I have the injen intake and the installation was very easy. I didn't even have to take off the bumper. DO NOT TAKE IT OFF!!! WASTE OF TIME!! You can remove the bottom plastic (splash guard whatever). There are only a few screws, afterwards bend the plastic back and fit the cone inside and use a long flathead to reach inside to tighten the O-ring.
