ive had the joep mbc in for a few weeks now, n i decided that i dont want to be running 10psi all the time, so i turned the knob at the top a little bit then got in my car n it still was sayin that i was running 10 psi. so i kept doing this until the knob just about comes out n my ******* gauge is still telling me that im running 10psi.

how the hell do i fix this?

heh it was huge, thats all =p you didnt need to change it.

i meant huge as in file size. took me forever to finish the page. heh.

well i reconnected the hose to the t fitting w/o the mbc. n its still telling me that im running 10psi but now my car is jerking real bad when im boosting.

So i called mazda n told them that i need a new hose that goes from the wastegate to the t fitting. So they r going to replace that for me. do you think i should tell them that the car is jerking?

Im so ******* lost right now:confused:

My car kinda jerks too after I installed my EBC. Im only boosting at a peak of 8.5 settling in at a constant 7 but when it hits peak boost it kinda hesitates then goes then hesitates. WTF??? BTW how did you get the hoses of the tee? Mine were cemented on so I just cut the hose. I would like to replace the whole hose though.

You're dealer didn't seem suspicious about needing a new hose for the wastegate? What about when they replace it, they might notice its been tampered with...

mine somewhat pulled off, which means that when i pulled it off the motherf$&%er cracked an torn apart about 2 inched down the hose. I think thats what the problem is.? but to keep it on the safe side i just wont boost for till i get the hose replaced, which looks like it'll be awhile. DAMN im now on my second "break-in" period.

Mine has a slight crack in it but its not deep enough to where it would be leaking...

I already told them bout the boost controller, n i told them that ill pay for it out of pocket. Labor is only 8 bucks, but they havent gotten back with me on the cost of the hose. They dont have the part in their computer to they're trying to figure it out.

Go buy a new hose at a parts store. They are nothing more then a simple vacume line. :D

EDIT:Ohhh and not to be rude, but if you cant replace that simple hose, maybe you shouldnt be messing with a boost controller, and vacume lines to begin with. Again, not being rude, just being honest. :D

i can replace it, its just that i'd rather have them do it so if something goes wrong with the their hose it'll be covered under warrranty

They didn't freak out about you having a boost controller? What about future warranty work, they might screw you because you have that and they know about it now..
