Coolant has recently began leaking from the side of the engine where the belts are. I believe that the pump and timing belt was recently replaced before I bought the car, it is currently at 82k miles. Is there an easier way than tearing it down as if you were to do a timing belt water pump change to check the water pump bolts to see if they are a little loose? Looking for the least amount of tear down required to check the water pump bolts. Thanks for any input you have.

Just change the pump. Chances are the pump bolts are tight and the seal in the pump has taken a crap.

I may have to do that but I'm hoping that a bolt just came loose and it started leaking that way. I have read a couple of people on this forum have that happen. The timing belt looks like it was replaced when I had the valve cover off, so I would hope that the WP was also replaced then. I've had more trouble with this lower mileage Protege than all the others I've had with more miles. Figures.
