Ok I'm just wondering if this is a good tuning route

Atp wga
Replaced all vacuum lines with silicone
Replacing stock ic hoses with reinforced silicnone
Then I'm getting a/f and boost gagues possibly a wideband o2
Then I'm installing my 3" pope dp and a 3" dp back
At the same time throw in a EBC to set boost at 8 psi
After I get enough dough ill finish off with a ssafc v2
And a fmic/recirc BOV

This my plan atm, please advise me if I should go about this differently
All I want is a reliable/spirited DD

Definitely look into getting an exhaust system man! Don't want all that air getting restricted going through the stock piping. But other than that, you plans look solid for a quality MSP in my opinion!

You list getting an a/f gauge and a wide band. Why both?

Why get upgraded piping for the smic when you plan on going to a fmic?

Ha I put a/f gague and possibly a widrband if I got the dough

I said a pope dp with a 3" back lol

And I'm buying the ic replacement hoses bc my stockers are leaking badddd

Last but not least... This is the first manual I have ever owned lol and BTW I own this car... Not mommy and daddy :) so idk how I'm spoiled

the hoses are just temorary until i get time to conjure up a ebay fmic and relocate my maf and add a bov. i would go that route first but i want a/f monitoring and boost control before i go that route so i dont blow sh$# up... idk how touchy these engines are on spinning bearings and throwing rods through the block but i sure do hear about alot of ppl out of commision bc of blown engines. in my eyes id rather spend a wee bit more to do this all safetly and at a gradual pace, mainly bc im just learning as i go. Im more then capable of doing all the stuff i listed over a weekend lol but i dont have that kind of funding atm seeing how i have bills to pay and such lol. Plus on top of that i work 50-60 hours a week on top of finishing my tech degree (last class FTW)

And it also sucks bc i need to get my car in to the body shop to fix some minor rust so that also is holding me back from going nuts buying parts and such lol

Ya i say that's a good plan but wideband is more worth it since your not just getting a light show. I would also look into a corksport 3 inch exhaust system or maybe a magnaflow. don't forget about engine mounts too if you up the power i find they are really important especially the rear one it seems to tear easily.

If I was you I'd get the wideband first, then ssafc, then fmic, then exhaust.

The cheap little a/f gauges tell you nothing, all they do is put on a light shoot and waste money

i have a SU front engine mount and will be getting the rear soon, but the stock one is still intact so i figured id be fine for the moment. and btw i have a pope 3 inch dp and im ordering a corksport 3inch after i get the hoses put on to fix my boost leak. Im sure a wideband/fmic/ssafc would be my best bet to get first but i already have the dp and i and ive been dying to try it out so yea... and i dont hotrod my car... so the heatsoak is bareable atm...
