Anyone painted brake clipers on the Titanium MSP?? I am going to paint mine but i want to see how it will look... Can anyone post me a pic??? Also what paint did you use??.. I will be helpful for me Thanks alot...

Moving over to Appearance.

Make sure whatever paint you get is rated to 900 degrees or higher. 500 degree paint isn't enough.

My calipers are painted blue, but I need to repaint them...winter pwned them

This one has red calipers and it looks nice. I'm painting mine as soon as it gets warm enough up here.

*I'm not sure whose car this is but it's someone on this forum.

I'll be doing mine red using the G2 paint system that I got from Vettehead products.

Painting calipers looks good. I didnt paint mine because Im not proud of my drums and small brakes :p
Use high temp paint this way it can withstand the heat of the brakes without chipping.
And as suggested above, check the how to sections. You might even want to try a search. Ive seen some helpful threads about this in the past.

my g2 will be in the mail monday....from tirerack.com thanx roni!!!!!
I got G2 from tirerack.com too. It came in the mail this week. I ordered the G2 because it came with the cleaner, the paint, the brush, etc. I wanted to get the job done right. It might have been less expensive if I had just bought paint and cleaner but I wanted to make sure.

how did it come out? I heard that 2 sets might be needed from someone on here.

I haven't put it on yet but from what I have heard, the paint that they give you should be enough for about 2+ coats on each caliper.

I painted mine red, and it came out great. I jsut bought brake cleaner and some caliper paint from autozone. No sanding or anything. They look awesome.

I have a titanium msp w/ red painted calipers and it looks GREAT! Definetly paint them it makes my car looks so much better. I'll try to post some pics

i still haven't even done mine
hopefully the next nice weekend i have i will get to do it....

Yeah I just bought the stuff I needed to repaint my calipers....I'm also going to paint / repaint stuff in my engine bay.

Bought some Blue and Red caliper paint from Pep Boys. Spray can, but I'm going to brush them on this time.

I just gotta take the wheels off, sand off the old paint, and start new. I'm painting them Blue, with a red Mazdaspeed logo. (I'm going to paint part of the caliper red, let it dry, then stick a small Mazdaspeed logo sticker I have on it, then paint blue over top of that, then remove the sticker :) )

Hopefully I'll be able to do it this weekend
