Has anyone added the stock sub to their car? I would like to add a sub to mine but I don't want much. Does anybody have pics of the stock sub? I haven't even seen one.

The stock sub just give's alil kick nothing special.I'm not much of an audio guy so I'm cool with it.

I did a fiberglass box in the rear drivers side of the trunk where that little cubby is. Put in an 8" kicker and a small amp under my seat. Very easy to do if you take the panel off and have a weekend to do the fiber glass work.

I finally opened up the back to see the stock sub that the PO told me I had...here's pictures.

I have the Infinity BassLink & love it. It doesn't take up much space & you can remove it easily if you have to haul stuff.

I've been wanting to upgrade too but (1) I like the 6-disc changer even if it holds less music than an MP3 player through an aux port; (2) I like to say "I have a stock subwoofer"; (3) the stock HU matches the color scheme of the dash, cluster, etc.; (4) it's cheaper to not, and (5) I'm in a committed relationship so it's no longer necessary to pound tunes to attract the the female species (upbum)

Why would you want to tell people you have a stock subwoofer? It's not gonna impress anybody especially when they hear it.

lots actually...like way lots. hyundai tibby, just about every lexus, quite a few toyota's (yeah not known as much but they're there), etc etc etc etc etc

Looks like I'm loosing the fight here, but whatever. I think of all of my friends who are normal people, not car enthusiasts, and none come to mind with a stock subwoofer.

For as much as you would spend on an intact factory sub, you could get a much better sub such as an Infinity Basslink.
