Like the title says the fogs on my new P5 are not working. I tried looking at the fuses but, they are good. Looked at the bulbs good again and looked to see if they were connected which they are. I also looked at the switch inside to see if it was connected and it is. Has anyone experience this type of problem? I would really appreciate if someone could steer me in the right direction.

This may be a stupid suggestion (as you may have already done this) but there is a connector on the passenger side, near the fender. make sure that is connected. Also, check the connectors and pins for each fog light connection. It may have over heated, or have oxidation on the pins. When i was installing HID fog lights, i noticed this. Had to hard wire the ballasts in. Hope this helps.

Is it easier to get to this connector from the wheel well or from the engine bay? I am going to be honest this is connector is something I have not looked at. Please explain exactly where it is and I will look at this tonight. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just out of curiosity... the fogs will not work if the headlight switch is not turned on. if your car has stock wiring, the main headlights (low beams) need to be on for the fog lights to work.

Yes, I know that. They will not turn on even with the headlights on and the high beam are not on, only the low beams are on and still they do not work. I would like for some one to direct me towards the main wire plug which centelred says is on the passenger side of the car.

make sure the fuse in NOT really blown..... there been time where i pulled the fuse that looks ok, and it was blown.

The connector on the PS is behind the fender liner. You can get to it with the wheel on the car but doesn't give you much room. I just had a similiar issue with both fogs and bumper markers not working. Culprit ended up being that the harness had some corrosion. Cleaned it up and everything is good now, hope it's that easy for you.

So if the connector is not plugged in the side markers don't work? Now I am confused, my side markers are working but none of my fogs are.

sorry for the delay. this connector is easily accessible from under the bumper. if you take off the 3 black 8mm bolts that secure the wheel well splash guard, look up you'll see a grey connector hanging down from the main harness, the other is connected to the bumper. if you have any more problems, i can try to take a photo tonight after work for you.

edit** just read your statement of sidemarkers working and fog lights not working. definitely make sure all of your connectors to the back of the fog lamps are not burned, or corroded.

Guys I want to thank you for all your comments. Last night after inspecting the fog light components (Relay, connector, and fog lights) I found that the fog light mod was done and the red wire coming out of the relay was not connected. I went ahead and connected the wire taped it and wala the came on. Guys I cannot thank you enough good response.
