P5 ECU swap tomorrow

Got my P5 ECU today and plan on istalling IT and the "device" tomorrow.

I know many of you may say I'm an idiot for swapping ECU's and losing a few HP... But I've talked at extent with Corky and a few guys at FM and it's really the best option for me. HP isn't always the way to go-especially when "ping" is involved and under par octane.

When I go turbo, I think a P5 ECU swap would be something I'd seriously consider. I don't think you're and idiot .

Sorry you only have 91 octane there. I shall have to pour out some liquor for the decommissioned MP3 ECU.

The ECU swap went well, and I feel the diffrence. It runs much smoother and have yet to hear ping... There are a few issues though-and I'm guessing completely unrelated to the ecu swap. I will start a new thread. TOM-Your MP3 ECU will be shipped out Monday!
