There was a mostly complete turbo kit for $550 the other day in the protege FS section...Something used like that is going to be your best bet, as i'm fairly certain no MSP owner is looking to trade parts with an automatic P5...
for the manual conversion, just look at wrecking yards for a destroyed manual car...Suprisingly, the swap is way easier than most make it out to be if you have a donor car with the needed stuff. The firewall is already drilled for the clutch pedal/slave cylinder...you'll need the manual cars ecu also, if you want to get it right...you'll get multiple codes from the auto's ecu, as one unit controlled the auto transaxle and engine.
not trying to give you bad news...just saying, the auto proteges are barely able to run with some hybrids...its unlikely you'll find anyone looking for a 'trade'...its going to take some money most likely...
