P0301 after going forged.

Just finished up a forged build on the MSP. and having a few problems.
Weisco pistons .020 over.
The entire engine was taken to a respectable engine shop/machine shop who disassembled, checked everything, fixed what needed to be, and reassembled the engine.

List of what is done to the car is.
Forged engine. CAI, Relocated MAP, FMIC, SSAFC. Full 3" exhaust.

For starters im not sure if i have the vacuum lines right. (mainly how the FPR connects to some other sensor that i dont know the name of)
But the main problem is im getting a P0301 (#1 cyl misfire.) and you can hear it at an idle and it is very faint going down the road. but it is constant..

Symptoms.
1. rough idle
2. 13.8-14.2 afrs and an idle
3. 18 vacuum (was 22-24 before the build)
4. sometimes it will kick into open-loop when going into boost and have my afr's at 12.5:1 (feels smooth but will eventually hesitate and i let out), others it will hang at 13, or bounces all over the place up to 15:1

Things i have tryed.
1. Swapped the injectors around, the codes stays at #1 cyl
2. swapped coils. and the code stays at #1.
3. new coils.
4. new plugs.
5. starter fluid leak test. (found injectors seals leaking)
6. New injectors seals.
7. Pull #1 plug wire off while the engine is running, and it makes no difference, same effect when putting it back on. It also has what seems to be a good spark. (tested on #2 cyl and it almost kills the engine).
8. pull #1 injector wires off. AFR's begin to vary from 16-straight lean. as soon as the plug is installed. an extremely (almost unoticable) change in the sound of the engine. and afr's fall to high 13's to very low 14's and an idle.

Anyone have any idea's? im stumped.

Did you gap the plugs? They should be at .030". When you replaced the coils did you also get new wires and coil pack boots? Is the timing set correctly on the intake cam? Could be the bolts on the IM aren't tight enough.

I did gap the plugs, but did not get new wires. But it just has way to good spark to be that. #1 cylinder just isn't hitting. I'm going to do a comp check today and see what that says but I just got a feeling its not going to be good
