orange msp spotted

hey man i saw an orange msp while driving down edgewater drive in orlando, fl. at the stoplight and talked to him for a while and he was really cool. . .i just wanted to know if you were out here.

How did you make out with your carputer??? is it finished?? pics? install notes? OS? Power Source? How did you wire it to the ignition? Timer setup? Components used?

my carputer is about a month away from being done. . . .lol i need the 400 bux for the screen from Dave @ dscustoms

i am also waiting on a reply from jeff (he makes the shutdown controllers) for atx power supplies to purchase one from him. it's basically a plug and play install for that.

my carputer setup will be as follows:
1 biostar mvig pro integrated mobo
1 AMD duron 1300 (less heat than the athlons and probably be underclocked)
1 volcano 8 low-profile HSF
1 stick 256 crucial pc 2100 ddr
1 seagate barracudda IV 40 gigger

and an emachines psu as it is small and can put out all the power i need

i might use my slot load pioneer dvd drive too but im still unsure off

right now im in the process of building the custom enclosure for the mobo as i want it to fit under the seat and i have found the sheetmetal for it already. i just have to do some jigsaw/dremel work and play with the rivet gun to piece it all together. . . if i can find my dad's digi cam i will take pictures as i am piecing it all together.

on another not i also found an obd2 scantool that i can also hook up to the carputer via seial connection and log everythign that's is coming from the ecu @ 200 bux it will be worth it whenever i start doing performance mods.

lately ive just been doing normal case mods for the rig that im buidlign for my little siter and im deciding if i want to do more audio stuff. . . . ...
