I can imagine you guys really know how much of a newb i am to the import scene, but im tryin to learn :-)...so without further ado (and no need for smart comments plz) i found some parts that i am curious of whether they will do anything to help performance, and if so how much:

anyone know the dimensions of our fuel doors on the mp5 (for the fuel door covers?)

Please tell me these coilovers would be good enough:

from what i've heard the best coilovers to get are the ground controls, i dont have any and they're pretty pricey but i've had good input from ppl that have them on their hondas etc.

Accually the some of the best coilovers to get are the Tien's. They have an optional cocpit control device that lets you adjust the height. The Tien's are over $1,000 though!

ok some of us people that work for the government dont have nearly that much money to spend at several hundred dollars per inch...so can i buy those coilovers or what?

Neither of these products will work on the P5. We have a distributorless system.

If you just want a lower, you might also want to check out spoolin's springs. They come in at $200 and people on the board have said good things about them. Thinking about picking up a set myselft while saving for a full coilover system (JIC or Tein). Just do a search for spool springs to learn more about them.

FYI, The Tein EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) is not compatible with the Super Street Coilover setup. I contacted Tein and they said that it won't ever be either. Also a note on Coilover Sleeves in general (CG or Skunk2), They make a clunking noise from my understanding when going over bumps and such.

Yes they do, all of the cheap coilover setups (which is almost all of them) are not good at all. The make squeaking noises and they do make a clunking noise. You're better off just going with some Spool springs or something.

ok, i checked out the spoolin springs, and they seem ok for $200, plus everyone is complimenting them...now my next newb question, is how hard is it to install them (if i have a good friend that installed coil overs himself on his civic will he be able to do the springs also?), and do i need to cut, remove, replace, or what with the old springs and other misc related parts? if you could even point me to an FAQ i would be happy, but i did a search and returned some results that had nothing to do with what i was looking for (which i noticed someone else in the search had the same prob)...also, 2in is nice, but how is the ride with them, and do the stock rims and tires rub with the drop?
