It all depends what model Z you start with as a base. But Nismo and other Nissan Performance parts are very expensive to buy.

that could be done in photoshop.

It would take months with photoshop to get the right reflections on the doors and the correct spin on the wheels where yo can see the rotors entirely...and it still wouldn't look that good. I've tried...the radial blur just dosen't cut it.

Anyway, it is done by tracking the camera with the car...I just don't know how the keep the camera steady. Maybe they tie fishing line to the car or something?

Maybe a camera mounted on the rear bumper or quarter panel of another vehicle.

I thought of that, but it would still be really tough to track at the exact same angle. That picture is really really crisp. Perhaps they just set it on repeat and drove around in circles for a while then picked the best one? I wonder how fast he was moving.

it seems to be a pretty widely used technique for professional car photographers, I don't know how they do it so crisply but I guess that is what makes them professionals right, I know you would need a really nice camera and some ultra high speed film. Here's two nice examples, they just happen to be another 350.

pan & track. match the speed of your pan and the car will look stationary while the background is in motion. match the tracking to reduce blurriness and motion with the 3/4 angles. some highspeed film or if you have a digicam that can control the ISO speed & play w/ the exposure time. try not to use flash.

btw, if you wanna photoshop wheels in motion like that, get a high res pic of wheels already in motion, and chop them into the existing wheels. the radial blur tool really wasnt designed for that sorta thing. for example,

you have to understand, $91k is the currency conversion, not the actual cost of the car. a 41,000 BMW M3 in the UK is not priced $74,000 in the US.
