New Toys!!

Well, didn't take me long. :D I added the JL goodies over the holiday weekend. 3 JL6W0's in their prefab'd box, and a 300/2 300 WRMS (bridged) amp. The 6's are amazing. They freak'n pound for what they are!!

I didn't plan on spending this much for subs/amp, but it was sure worth it. My cost around $685.00 (had an installer friend do the do... I was lazy. Hell for $40, it gave me a 2 year warranty on the goods. Although I'm extremely picky with my cars, he does a great job, and was worth every penny for the additional year.)

Enjoy - Jim

I love those damn 6's too. A fine amp choice as well.

I really didn't want to loose any appreciable space in the already limited cargo area... hence the choice for the 6's. I was very impressed when I first heard them, not at all what you'd expect. They sound as good, if not better than my old 10W6 from years ago. That made the decission even easier.

Fact of the matter is they fit like a glove in the P5. Don't take up much space, and pound like a 12 when asked to do so. What more can one ask for!!

I think the 300/2 is a slight overkill, but I don't listen to music like I used too. This amp should last me a long, long time as it will rarely see heavy usage.... well, sometimes you've got to let loose!! :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence. :) JL really does make some quality products.

Take care,
Jim
