Hey Folks,
I just wanted to say whats up. I've been lurking on the boards for awhile, but now I'm digging deeper and get to know everyone.

My name is B, I live in Newington (the pike is in my backyard) I just picked up an 02 MP5, silver/black, auto, stb, ZOOM ZOOM. My wife has a 98 Protege es. The deal is, if I keep the MP5 bling free, I can do whatever I want to the 98 pro. I'm not looking to build a race car, more of a cruiser.

I'm down to hang out and work on cars, meet ups and stuff.

Thanks

hello and welcome decisions decisions is the store of our lives good luck deciding what your going to do about modding but either way enjoy. and welcome to nepoc (even though in a newb myself) BWAHAHAHA

We need a meet. Soon but my car is being worked on anyways. I wish I made it to NEPOC boozefest 2005 but I missed out.

welcome!

first meet will probably be mid to late march....i have been thinking about this lately and am anxious to get some things planned for next year too so i guess ill start a thread and get the preliminary ball rolling..

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not much of a drinker, it usually leads to me rolling on the floor half naked while speaking with a british accent and waking up in another state next to some weird chick talking bout being my only wishing for a pepperoni pizza and something dank.

But I'm down to ride with Slug420

I love the new MP5, it just wants to go fast! but I gotta be cool, it's the family car.

As for the ES, there aren't a lot of mods for 2nd gens, but it needs some TLC before I can get nuts. It's a hand me down car with some battle scars. The motor still pulls strong, but it needs new belts, water pump, and I think there's an exhaust leak. But that's what makes the tuning so much easier. Since a lot of stuff needs to be fixed, I'll just upgrade. Nothing crazy, but bigger exhaust, new tires (since it's the weekend car, I can get H rated or better), the struts are leaking so I'll get some KYB and some springs to drop it 1.6 inches. I'll probably do a K&N drop in for the intake, maybe a diy CIA, nothing too crazy. I'm gonna throw some tints on the windows and the lights, then paint. Right now it's sand mica brown, which means it's bad brown in and out. I'll either do spray paint primer black, or the $250 maaco special. I don't want it to look pretty, I want to dissappear. I'm a back road bomber.

Of course I need to put some bumps in it, maybe a 12 and just upgrade the stock 4 and head. The brighter the bling, the more someone will want to take it.
