New to mazda

Hello, I have just purchased my first ever mazda. It is a 2006 mazda5 GT, 5 MT, 17's, sunroof, fully loaded. The test drive was amazing, my wife and I loved it. We pick it up on Tuesday, I am so excited I feel like it is Christmas and can't wait to start driving it. My question is, is there anything major I should look out for?

Are you buying from the Mazda dealer? If so, get a printout from the service dept of all the work done by Mazda dealers, like warranty work. I just got my printout a couple weeks ago and found out that it had been through a few more warranty trips than I thought (the battery was DOA at 7 miles :O yikes! and had been replaced once more before the prev owner ditched OE and went to Autozone) Anyway, take a trip down to the TSB page, and you will learn about everything you want to look for. After 7 years, most everything should have been addressed, but the ones that tend to linger are the swaybar bushings, OE shocks/struts, and some of the interior switches like the PW/PDL and cargo door latches.

It was bought from a used car lot, local trade. There is a noise in the left front, can't pin point if it is the strut or link. Will have to get it up on the hoist in the next day or two. Thanks for the info.
