Thanks for all the replys guys, but im stuck once again...im guessing I didnt get the right type of spring compressor? How the freak does this thing work? The instructions say to remove the strut while its still on the car and then insert this to remove the spring, makes no sence. I see how it would work, but the thing dont fit inside there with the struts there, I tried it on the outside but it isnt compressing it enough, maybe I need 2?

They go on the out side of the spring and you do need 2. One compresser goes on one side of the spring and the other compresser on the opposite side. You tighten each side evenly a few turns on one and then a few turns on the other. Don't undo the nut at the top of the strut until the spring is loose.

With my 626, i could use my spring compressers to do the front springs but they could not handle the rear ones. In the end I took the whole spring and strut assembly to a local tire shop and had them remove and replace the springs for me.

yeah, thanks though, and welcome! I did have the wrong compressor at first, I had to go back and rent the right one.
