with the new springs you probably won't even need a spring compressor to get them on since they will be shorter springs.

hopefully, thanks:) im off to autozone, will check back if everthing fails again lol

corret tools aquired! "strut spring compressors" instead of "coil spring compressors" ...you wont beleive the b**** tried to give me valve spring compressors? i didnt even know those existed lol...back to the shop!

yeah with a strut spring compressor on each side of the spring it should be like cake :)

I had all sorts of endlink issues since my car was a rustbucket, but you don't even actually need to take your struts off the car to install lowering springs.. it can be done with the endlinks still attached. :)

stocker struts looked fine so I went ahead with that. Left front...check! Right front...cant get the damn end link off!!! I have no idea how I got it off on the left side anyways, I borrowed my neighbors air compressor but that does absolutley no good without the hose...cant find it. I might not be able to get the fronts done tonight:(

I guess just tilt it foreward and work under the car...no thanks lol. And yes, its getting better with the right tools!

I wouldn't even put goldlines in my trunk. From what I've heard, they're the worst springs ever.

Exactly, you heard. I had them. They were Great springs. Excellent drop and ride. The actual few people can attest to this. If they speak up with me.

I have goldlines and they make me angry all the time (fight)

with stock struts and now with my Tokico HPs.. since they are progressive just driving on pretty smooth pavement they are way overdampened and it gives me a bouncy ride. The right gets really rough when I have my 17s on in the summer too. They'll be replaced with some Teins or Eibachs probably during the summer.

Oh and jeg.. yeah, just tilt the strut out and do it that way. you can get it out with just the endlink still attached, but be gentle because the endlinks break easily. What sucks hardcore is when an endlink breaks but leaves the mount part on the strut or swaybar.. and you can't get that off. luckily I wasn't putting my stock struts back on the car so I just had a shop drill the broken stuck bolt crap out of the sway bar when they were under there doing an alignment anyway.

Endlinks finally came off...and damn...my car is raked like a b**** lol. No DG lip for me. Perfect drop up front, rears are to be done in the morning. I know the pics arent the best but here they are anyways. Thanks for the springs JOMO:) Is there any problem with me forgetting a clip on the break line? I tried to get it back in after all was done and I remeberd but couldnt get it in.

i was trying to save my pics but what the heck lol...ill take pics tomorrow of whats hiding in the other side of the garage and what usually sits where my car currently is. We had fill dirt put down and spread out and we wanted to let it settle before bringing in another load and pour the cement, its all grassed over now but we might be paving it soon. The attached pic is from the back of the house to the garage.

lol, thanks. No heat but theres a window a/c unit in there, and an attic. You know what...theres even a futon without a matress in there lol, you could pimp that place out! Oh, and found a pic with the wheel straight and on pavement, somehow it didnt load off the camera the first time...speaking of the futon...it made it into the lower left corner of the pic lol
