New member has a question

Hey All,

I think I'm gonna get fired since I expect to spend way too much time on this forum (kissass)

Anyway, I have an 06 MS6 that came off warranty earlier this year which of course means I got a CEL. The only mod I've done currently is the Cobb Tuning SRI. That went in over a year ago and I've had no problems with it. I started running synthetic last time I changed my oil and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

My question is does anyone know of a good/honest mechanic who knows the MZR engine in the Atlanta area? I'd rather not take it to the dealer anymore.

Take it to Autozone and have them pull the CEL code for you, or get some one local to pull it. You want to know what that is before you do anything else. I run synthetic, and so do a lot of other people here, so it's not likely that that is the problem by itself. Is it doing anything else?
