sorry i didnt make it, many different reasons but hopefully ill see you all at the dyno day as long as it does not conflict with my june 6th interview with the us of a government.
Yea the dyno day istn lookign good for me....graduation same day I think, but my date for grad may also be the 4th or the 5th, I really want to maek this meet, so I may be late getting to the dyno day if anything........
So, lots a sqeeking and clunking from my rear right strut tower. Something must not be bolted down tight. I gotta ******* pull everything out again to get to it. I'm uploading my pictures now.
First impressions on the Espelirs (aside from the sqeeking): Rides like stock, only lower and a little smoother over large dips and humps in the road. That's all I can say. It doesn't feel any stiffer except the springs unload much smoother. For example, if you come to a quick stop, the stock springs will jolt you back. These don't.
yeh i had some squeaking at first, but it seemed to all settle in and its pretty much fine now...a few more clunks and rattles than i had with stock but i cant tell if some of it is all the s*** i had in my trunk bouncing around
Here are the pictures I took before my battery went...
10:15, lots of cars but not much going on...
The first two spring installs of the day in bay 1 and bay 2 of the NEPOC pro install shop.
Running wires for guages
On all of the spring installs we basically took everything apart. The caliper came off completely and the sway bar was unbolted so we didn't have to deal with the endlinks.
i have some clunking every now and then nothing too seriour so ill deal with it. the espelirs are a smooth ride but then when going over dips on the highway it gets a little rough but maybe thats just me? take some nice turns and youl see how well they are
i like the new look of the car. are the espelir's lower then the eibachs?
Well this clunk/sqeek is making me nervous. It happens on every little bump and is very unsettling. I thought we tightened everything down but after the screwup with the sway bar I think I was in a little rush to get it all back together again. I'll try to take a look tomorrow if I get out of work early.
