yeh, i'll be goin up either from my mom's house in bethel or my dad's in new canaan...if i go from new canaan we can definately meet somewhere and drive most of the way together...do you know how you're going up?

well for me since i literally live next to the merrit parkway (ct-15) i guess id take the merrit to 84 or 91 not sure i have to look up directions but in any case i should be going that way...let me know whats up i could meet ya somewhere.

I'm tossing the idea of heading up.

I'm considering lowering my P5 in preperation for new wheels. If I make a decision and have the parts in time...I will absolutely come since I don't know the first thing about installing suspension parts.

I hear that, Im lowering mine same time. All i know is the springs could de compress and kill me. At least that is what my dad keeps telling me.

What are you going with? I'm considering a set of Eibachs but I don't know if I should go all out and get coilovers.

How much did you pay for the tokico blues and where did you get them?

ok i got good procing from bluemp5dave. i got the blues for 85 a pop shipped and i got the springs for 150.00 shipped. this was back in january. you can contact him or rishie i beleive...basically i got them from automotive r & d. if they ask were you got these figures from tell them from my forum name or alejandro pedreira. they have been sitting at my house since january and shall be going on the car this upcomming friday and i cant wait. and yesterday i got the finishing touch which was falken azenis st 115's they look so aggresive and so cool. so when i roll up ill be fashionable with the "new" rims as well. good luck

Alrighty folks, here's what about to blow my tax return on...

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs (1.4" drop)
Rota GT3 Bronze w/ polished lip
Toyo Proxies 4 or Falken Azenis (not 100% sure though)

If I get these springs in time, you guys can help me install them? I'm going to use them with the stock struts until they wear out. Hopefully I'll get at least another year out of them.

Will I be ok driving back w/o an alignment? (I'll be coming from the Foxborough area)

you should be able to do it. I believe the wheel will vibrate a bit at highway speeds (like any other time your car needs an alignment) and tire wear will be less than desirable until you get one but i dont think its "dangerous"

That sounds like a great setup. Very similar to mine. For what it's worth, I have the Toyos and love them.

You can drive without an alignment, but I'd reccomend getting one as soon as you're able.
