Need to know 2006 ATF dip stick level

I when to get my oil change today and the young tech got confused because I have the Fumoto valve and took off the ATF drain plug. He realized this pretty quickly becauae of the smell and replaced the plug.

I think less than a litre was lost. The problem now is they did not know what the dip stick level should be because it only have marking for 20 and 65 degree C and it is -5C outside and the garage was around 10C.

They did not want to over fill and gave me a litre of Castrol Import multi vehicle ATF to top it up. When I got home, a 5KM drive the dip stick only shows about 1/3 way to the 20C mark. Basically about 1/2 inch from the tip of the dip stick.

I have no garage and the car is parked outside. Does anyone have any idea what the level is on the dip stick at -5 C. Thanks.

I believe that 20c and 65c is transmission temperature marks, not ambient temp marks. Basically cold and hot level checks. If you had been driving a while when it went to the shop it should have been warm and used the 65c mark to check the level.

The car shifted normally on the way home. I will top it tomorrow, don't want to do this is the cold and dark. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
