Need some info

i dont know but iam eventually going to do the same. but im going to cut it and weld a 3" buttweld but yes its supper tight down there im looking foward to the challenge...

I'm pretty sure others have considered this option and the consensus is that you'll need to remove the A/C to make enough room for it. But that's just me talking from the vague memories of old ass posts.. so it may be possible, give it a shot I guess.
 
You might not need to since you don't have A/C, that should give you plenty of room to make the DP fit properly.

If you do want to try clocking it, do some searching for threads of people replacing their stock turbo with a GT28RS disco, it requires some slight reclocking to be a perfect stock replacement so you're bound to find some info on how to do it in one of those threads.

But on second thoughts I don't know if clocking will really help at all with DP fitment.. it might not now that I think about it. I dunno, google it lol.
 
clocking the compressor housing wont help you create clearance for a downpipe. to get more clearance you will need to actually change the position of the turbo and the only way to do that is with a custom manifold
 
Clocking the turbo only allows you to shorten up the hotside piping... But you will need a straight thermostat housing or a very thick spacer to clear your lower radiator hose.
