My time has come to sell the speed.

you have forgotten your roots if you don't realize our cars are just a logical extension of the muscle cars of old.

But my point is, muscle cars are straight line power and tuners are usually more about handling as well. The SRT is a pretty decent middle ground I think but if you think about it Muscle cars and Tuner cars are 2 separate crowds now.

i would sell the msp.... if i could find a buyer for my turbo p5 i would sell it in a hurry... im goin back to 240's ( i would have a 1992 240 with a s15 front end conversion with wide body, and an rb26 slapped in it and leave it stockish... and call it a day...
2 bold sections... pick one...

I think it's funny how the muscle car guys are all like "yea all motor baby what's your turbo got on that??"

Though nowadays all the big V powered motors are slapping turbo's and superchargers on to reach these big numbers...

I've been in a T/A that would drive the pants off of your car, you pick the venue. 600hp, and a full suspension under it.

Anything is good with enough money...But I'm saying the typical muscle car is straight line power. That's it.

Sorry to bring out the e-peen.

SRT-4 is an excellent car either the Neon or Caliber. Using one of my turbo manifolds John at PT-Performance made over 600whp on stock internals on the Caliber and we are now developing a kit for the Neon to make over 1000hp.

Check out the dyno video second one down on my video page. Manifold accounted for 60 of the extra hp btw which I was pretty happy about.

I won't sell my MSP. Its paid off and I love driving the car. My next car will be a EVO X or GC R-Spec. If I was the OP I wouldn't get rid of the MSP.

Honestly, I thought the same thing. I had intentions of driving it from day one until it completely died. I wanted to say I was the sole owner. It was pretty sweet seeing it pull into the dealer with only 4 miles on the OD and the white body protection still on it.

I got an offer an my car and the offer made by the guy with the SRT is WAY too good to pass on.

Little update: I sold the speed on Monday morning and that evening I picked up an '03 SRT-4. 65k miles, stored winters, it's got all the suspension mods as the speed had only beefier, it's got the mopar stage 2 kit with IC sprayer, short shifter, it's dropped. The car is in excellent condition. The guy selling it took very good care of it.

I will miss the speed but I am REALLY enjoying the SRT.

That's not a bad lookin' car. I don't care for the blue headlights but other then that I like it.

I'll have pics on Monday.

how the heck is swapping a rb26 in leaving it stockish haha. and you act like swapping that engine is easy. have fun with all the custom fabrication u gotta do.

He means leaving the RB26 itself stock. It makes more than enough power stock.

The SRT does look real nice. I remember test driving one when they first came out. Fun car. Well we all move on sometime. I did but I came back, this time with an MSP. Enjoy the new ride.

God I'm sorry....could probably never own one (shouldn't say never, but still). Just my opinion - then again I'm 36yrs old and would get something more mature.

RWD or AWD FTW.
