so

this past friday, i decide id like my calipers painted

i stroll into my local kragen, locate the paint isle, and come to find the only duplicolor kits they have come in red and blue and silver.

i was at the time looking for black, and i go and ask a chick, not much older then me, around late teens early 20s, and ask if they had any other caliper paint.

shes like oh yea

so

i follow her, this trick leads me to the freaking cosmetic isle. with like, plastic chevy badges, floor mats, and nascar stuff for your car.

puzzled all i said was "um"?

we were two rows away from the paint.

she looks at the plastic badges, and all she says is

hmmm

then takes me around, PASSES the paint section, i say. um

the paints right here, but i was wondering if u had any other colors or something in the back. all shes says is no very quickly, and walks off.

youd think these places would hire people that at least know what brake caliper paint is.

There is a reason people work at Auto Parts stores....it's NOT because they could be Doctors. (rofl)

The internet is your friend. If you want to find something specific you should start on the net then find what you want, write down the part number then call the local auto parts store and see if they stock it or if they can order it for you without shipping charges....then again with this method you wouldn't get to follow the eye candy all around the store. :D

Eye candy auto parts store lol never

I agree the people who work in there are not the brightest bulbs on the tree.

When i go in there i never ask. it only leads to more issues
