Nice car, is the wrx scoop functional? Did you buy it like that? What is done to it and what are your plans for it? I can suggest you get a mazdaspeed emblem off ebay and paint it black to match your other emblems on the rear, if you like the look.
I did it recently:

@biz - I bought the car with the FMIC in that position. Once I do the engine, I will address the issue to get it centered. I found it weird too, but it's better than the SMIC that came from the factory. As for the double din, I like it. Plays DVD's, iPod hookup, cant beat it.

@hornsfan10609 - The WRX hood scoop is functional. It also came with the car as it was. I, personally, don't like it. I will be replacing it later on down the road. I want to have a good running daily driver. Forged internals coming next year. I want to have around 275+ whp. I do like the black "Mazdaspeed" emblem. I might have to go that route.

@jbrewer4639 - Thank u! :)

TO ALL: One quick question... Do you know why the dash where the speedo & such are is so dim? I have the dimmer all the way to the highest position and at night, it's so dark. I was going to do a search, but if you know or can link me if it is a known issue, I would appreciate it.

bulbs in the back of the speedo... very easy to replace, just have to take out the surround piece and pull out the speedo and they are right there, easily accessible on the back of the speedo.

you can find bulbs @ autozone or a similar auto-shop... (i just replaced mine)
