well i feel dumb, i tore my turbo out to find out that the wg was moving fine and that there was nothing keeping it from seating. I checked over everything and all i noticed is that my turbo has in-out freeplay, not a lot but enough to make me even more frustrated on top of still having the same exact problem still... Not to mention i broke one of the studs for the exhaust housing =(

Now im scratching my head trying to think where da fuq this problem is comming from.

After i put it together and went for a drive it felt good on the first pull, but on my second pull the issue occured again. I hit 2500 then hit a wall and if i dont let off the gas the car will jerk/buck.

The only things i could possibly think that it would be is A) bad turbo from in/out play? B) Egr leaking under boost

other than that im clueless

Any advice on what i should check would be cool

not saying it will fix your issue but it fixed a few others inlcuding mine. But I had the brick wall/bucking issue for a while and did everything from searching for vac leaks to checking the gap on my plugs to cleaning the MAF and seafoaming the car. Nothing worked, but the second I wired up the ssafc and tweaked the fuel map on it, it ran strong ever since.

so it went from feeling like a big boost leak before you hooked it up, and after it was installed the problem went away? I have a ssafc v2 at home i wanted to install, but i wanted to fix the problem first... But idk lol i could def give it a go and try it out, i just need to install my wideband so i dont blow s*** up lol

I don't know about the whole boost leak thing. But the hitting a wall/bucking issue is gone for me. There are countless threads on the bucking issue and most of them are running the stock tune. Some have said to check for leaks, others have said replace your plugs, But every thread I have come across, I mention tuning. It worked for me and we all know how rich our tune is already. You have nothing to lose since you already have the ssafc. Just install it and put the stock supermap on it. It is still a little rich, just not as rich as the stock tune. You should be fine with the supermap, just do a couple of test pulls after installing. I doubt you will blow anything as long as you aren't doing WOT pulls from light to light every day all day. Just a couple of like 3rd gear pulls to see if the bucking goes away
