MS6 roof rails?

Since the seat doesn't fold down I'd like to put my snowboard on the roof, but I don't want something bulky. Something like so-

Any ideas?

The seats do fold down, it's just that the cross members are in the way. I'm pretty sure a snowboard would fit.

You may be out of luck on finding rails to fit the roof.

A Thule roof rack doesn't look that bad. I have one on mine. This will give you an idea:

Yah. I've seen the pass-thru mod post. But it looks like it'd be a hassle to wriggle the board in and out around the bindings. Plus, the rails are just cool lookin

A snowboard and/or skis will fit right through the center with both seats folded down. Just remove the plastic trunk panel and push the buttons on the top edge of the opening and the seats will pop down. It may not be ideal for going skiing/boarding every weekend but if you only make it up a few times a year it is better than having skuffs on your hood from a rack.
