Well my lovely whippier blades suck , they ripped:mad: , and yes I do not use them as ice scrapers, plus I use Rain X on the windshields and windows.
Did you know Rain X increases horse power LOL, If you believe that I have a nice bridge in NY for sale.LOL(hmm)
So going back to my little dilemma on the road, never had this every happen to me before when driving, the damn blades just fell apart.(hand) AAAAHHHHHHH I can see:wtf: .
So went out and bought the bosch wipers what a great Idea no ?
(naughty)
21 inch, 19 inch and guess what no 13 are out for them from bosch, so I had to upgrade the back to 14 inch.
What a big differents, from stock they work, so much better LOL.
(werd)
With the old blades, I would clean them with a damp rage to remove the dirt. Weekly gentle like. (sad2)
So 35 dollars later. I would recommend bosch blades nice good cleaning blades.(bling) IMO

I have been rolling with my PIAA Blades for almost a year now, and I would highly recommend them. I bought them from NOPI. They work great, and best of all every wipe is like an application of Rain -X! Ever been in a downpour so bad that cars are pulling over on the side of the highway? I have, and with my wipers I was able to keep going on to my destination with minimal wipage! I highly recommend them. The cost more than the ones you have, but are worth it! (thumb)

I where were you when I was driving LOL....

I use silblades -> silicon based wipers.

they are a little more expensive than the average blade
but do have a 5 year warranty on them.

www.silblade.com

works great and comes in multiple colors

My OEM supplied wiper blades are still doing just fine - They'll be 2 years old soon, and the car has 20K on it.

Actually, I've always had great luck with all rubber pieces on any Japanese car I've ever owned. Believe it or not, I still have the factory wiper blades on my '94 Miata - It IS garaged whenever I'm not driving it though.

I always bought the factory refills for the blades on a Toyota Supra and a Nissan Z I had as well - I put near 200K on each of those cars, and went through possibly 3 or 4 wiper blade refills on each - I've never found a Trico, Anco, or Bosch product which stood up as well here in the Gulf Coast sun. Maybe your cold snowy winters are harder on blades than our 95 degree summers

I hear you man. I had a damp rage once that wouldn't quit. I keep a sponge in my undies now, and as long as I ring it out every 1/2 hour I can keep my rage dry and fierce! LOL

About the wipers. I think the OEM wipers are too short. When they sit in the idle position the water runs off the the wiper and up the windshield. It's a bit distracting so I'm going to try longer blades.

KEEP THE RAGE DRY!
