Heya All

Through the birth of the Mazda 5 In Canada I have been one of the most supportive person you can run into. I can tell you today that I was a salesperson with Mazda for the last 5 Years in Ottawa Canada. I have tried my best to answer your questions and help when you needed it. I will miss this feedback..and the mystery of never saying I sell them for a living.

I owned for quite a while the 5 and find it is still the best bang for the buck and will stand up to anyone in the future supporting the 5.

I will be moving on to BMW sales tomorrow so I will try my best to stay posted on the 5....

PS keep your eyes open for the 2010 model I bet you will like it.

So you've sold the 5 but you've still got a couple of Mazdas in the fleet. Hopefully that means that you'll be around here from time to time. Selling for Bimmer now eh? Should mean better commissions which is a huge plus for you. And hopefully BMW's larger profit margins mean you'll be happily selling cars through the economic turmoil without a problem.

Best of luck in all of your future endeavors.

BTW - Mazda sales staff have seen the 2010 Mazda5? Can you give any verbal descriptions without putting your butt on the line? And do you know when they will be on the showroom floor? The 2010 3's are abound. At least, when I was at North Hill Mazda over a week ago I saw a hatchback there, and one sales person confirmed he had already sold one.

Have not seen a thing on the 5 yet though.

We will certainly miss you. I'm hoping that your departure is not an indication of the condition of Mazda. I know they are really struggling right now with plummeting sales worldwide.

There was nothing on the 2010 Mazda5 at the auto shows either. Odd.

I'm hoping that the '10s are nice, but not too nice... afterall I don't want to feel bad that I just bought an '09.

As for the "best bang for the buck" comment - I totally agree. When you take price into account, the Mazda5 is by far the best vehicle that can hold more than five.

good luck with the new job, you get to deal with pompous assholes every day now! ha ha.

cocks drive BMW, top gear says so!

please drop back to the lowly mazda 5 form from time to time!

My dream is still for a TDI MZ5, that or a MS5 would be the only cars I'd trade ours in for currently. I'm a bimmer fan, wouldn't mind an E46 someday... they're the last of the nice looking Bimmers.... the new ones are absolutely hideous... can't believe they're still making them like that. They have great engines and what nots but the looks really need help.... they look like somebody put an e46 on a hot plate and let it melt down a little.

couldn't agree more about the hideousness of bmw's these days. There isn't a single car I lust after of theirs. I think the 3 coupe's look nice from the front, but that's all.

Not sure if z5z has checked back but i want to ask him if he's seen a 2010 model 5 yet. Someone recently said the redesign isn't until 2011.

Thanks! Quick Q--before you go...

Can you say anything about timeline for the 2010? I'm really wanting a 5 and I assume the 2010 will have the new 3 motor. Just drove a 5 yesterday and definitely want more power. I've been watching this forum for awhile now and appreciate all your inputs!

All the best!
