Moter mounts?

and the tabs arn't that hard to remove. a good pair or diagnal cutters and a cold chisel and hammer.

Chisel & hammer = ME most likely to take off something OTHER than the tabs, (lol)

i drive a 6s so getting motor mounts for my car wouldnt be worth the money unless i got into autoX

Beg to differ, but motormounts for the 6s make for a significantly better drive even during regular driving. It's like night and day.

if you do it during an oil change half the battle is done, because the lower air dam will already be removed

Dude there is an easier way to change your oil for any car........

Do it like the Mercedes technicians do it, they use a special setup where a tube goes down the dipstick and creates a vacuum to suck out the oil......

I have one of these in the mail.......just waiting for it to arrive.....

http://www.autosportcatalog.com/index.cfm?fa=p&pid=3411

it holds 7 quoarts so you shouldn't have any problems either.

So u just put the car on a jack to get under it... im not really seein how to do it... Cause u gotta have 1 jack to hold the vehicle to get under it.. right? Then another to support the engine while ur replacing the mount...

UMMMM......

if your not using jackstands to support your vehicle while you work under your car then your just a darwin award waiting to happen....(boom07)

you put the car on jack stands and then use your jack.......

Selective process FTW!! (headbang)(dance)

quick question for those of you who got the mounts... is it hard to put the stock one back in, or is it simply reversing what you did in the first place? I'm thinking about dealer visits for service/warranty repairs.

simply reversal of the process....but i guerrenty that your dealer wont notice. expecially with a cpe or su.com mount.

yeah that's what sucks about the AWR....... black/red camouflage FTL

we installed an AWR mount into an MS6 over the weekend and the difference was markedly better than stock. very routine and simple install.

Hey Ken,

As a veteran of AWR front and Rear mounts on the Speed Protege, can you give a solid opinion of how much noise/vibration is introduced into the MS6 if any with the AWR mount?
