Most Overrated Luxury Brand

I'm surprised at the number of mercedes replies... You know how many mercedes have over a million miles? Tons, all over middle easy as taxis, etc...

My vote is Lexus and i'm surprsed no one else says it, as RXMmazdaspeed put it. I'll never buy one knowing its just an overpriced Toyota, but then again I think Toyota's are overpriced, the only 2 cars i'd consider are and IS300 and Scion TC. Toyota has always been years behind, at least styling. Interiors on a Toyota Tacoma even recents, ex. 2001, look like a 93, and a 95 looks like an 85....

anyone who said lexus is an idiot. not only are they MUCH more refined than their toyota brothers, but the have the highest reliability rating of ANY car brand. may not be the flashiest, but you get awesome reliabilty for the money.

id definietly have to say mercedes. to be blunt, they suck. another ridiculously overpriced brand is land rover.

Maybe its just my hatred of Toyota and the local craptastic pricing of them, but i still wouldn't buy one.

my parents have an ES300 with the navi and that thing is nice as s***...not only that, but they treat my parents like GOLD...they go to the dealer for a free car wash and breakfast any saturday they want..my parents have recieved countless items from lexus as complimentary gifts..I'll never forget when a freakin Lexus suitcase came in the mail for them...

Lexus --> Luxury Car, Luxury Treatment, Luxury Price

they are overprice, but they also never break, like toyotas, but i like the look on peoples faces when they come to our shop and ask us if we work onlexus, we tell them yeah, its just a toyota with different bodypannels and more buttons.

i would have to say jaguar and benz are nightmares to work on , and they are always breaking... caddilac is just overlypriced and is built cheaply, just a dressed up chevy..

that's how this world works. the richer you are, the more free stuff you get.
Mercedes is the worst luxury brand.Period.

I do not like and we have 4 of them at home. Even if they cost 100 grand they still have more problem than my protege.

The last time I drove in the CL55 I head noises from the pillar and the glovebox, even worse than the one that i have in my speed.

I believe that the most beautiful luxury brand is maserati (it just plain elegant).

just my opinion

maserati quattroporte. if i had the money and wanted a 4 dr that would be it.

lexus is most definitely not. they're actually a very well built car.

probably mercedes or jaguar would be the worst. my mom has a 99 jag xk-8, and it has been the pickiest b**** of a car. we've put way too much money into keeping it running.

- a bad sensor ocaused the car not to go above 30mph - 1700 to fix.
- random stalling problems w/ undetermined cause - at least 2000 in various service appointments.
- 20 miles away from the dealership after service, the engine blows - 12000 to fix.

fuckn' jags ..

yea older jags have the legendary british car electronic issues :D

i acutally like jags, especially the XJ sedans, the new ones with all aluminum chassis and still looking old school. one day i shall own a jag, ford be damned lol

I can't even begin to imagine why something like this would even be incorporated into a car. (screwy) Eventually, we will get to a point where a man/woman will pop the hood and have no idea what is what, and how to go about fixing something without going through some sort of automotive school. :(

I have an Aston Martin Vanquish...it sucks. It's just a flashy looking Ford Contour. I'd rather drive my Daewoo
