Against the Spec-V it would be close, probably come down to the driver. I think the Speed would take the Focus though.

Why are there so many n00bs on the board. Cant even quote someone properly.

It just gets very annoying seeing the same thing pop up in multiple threads. And the people who know what they are talking about ...have already answered the questions, or added their comments on a identical thread. So why would they bother to post the same thing over and over again. I dont think we were whining at all. I just think he would find all the info he needs by doing a search.

CHillin, It was to pre-emp flaming...of course, now you've started some, so...see how well it worked. In this case a search would be best because we've gone over it, the mags have gone over it, it'll only get uglier. Anywho...welcome to the forum, 2k3SBurstSpec. Sorry your first thread got bombed a bit. And just so you know my preferences and thoughts:

MSP-Focus-SpecV

I think an MSP-SpecV race is closer than Focus-SpecV. This is all stock vs stock, though. Take em to the twisties, though and the MSP should eat both up (but the ford is closer now)...and that's where I would judge more than at the drags!

Coming from a former specV owner (now former MSP owner), I can give you some imput.
If you are talking about the 1/4mi. given equal drivers the MSP WILL win. I ran 15.2 in my specV stock, and 14.9 in my MSP stock.

In the twisties, the MSP has even more of an advantage.

IMO MSP>>>SpecV>>>SVT foci

the focus has some strange gearing for its power, and doesnt really pick up untill third (seccond gear sucks for those guys).
