somone asked me about this so i may as well post here.
the different colored mazdaspeed radiator caps are not just for looks, each color is for a mazda specific car: protege, mp5, rx7, miata, etc.....
to check, take the radiator cap off of your mazda. If the little nub on the bottom is about the thickness as your finger than you need the green one. If it's about the size of a 50 cent piece than you need the red one.
for example, my 2003 mp5 has a finger thickness nub on the bottom of the cap so i needed a green one. I am not sure if its the same for all years of the mp5 so check first if your buying one.
